Because it is one of the few places on the west coast of Greece with no mass tourism: a fishing village on an islet in the Amvrakikos Gulf, tavernas over the water, a Byzantine church, and a wetland of international importance all around it. We wanted somewhere a stay is part of the place, not walled off from it.
What guests can expect
Every apartment has its own kitchen, air conditioning, a balcony, free WiFi and a private bathroom. Free private parking on the property. Check-in 15:00–21:00, check-out by 11:00, free cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival. The sea and the tavernas are about a 5-minute walk.

We are inside the village, not outside it. You book directly with us, with no platform commission, and you talk to the people who will meet you. And we tell you how things are: the sea here is calm and shallow, not a sandy beach with sunbeds — if you want the latter, we will tell you where to go for a day.

Koronisia is a small island accessible by road, located within the lagoon. It offers rare tranquility, magical sunsets and endless nature with flamingos, herons and seabirds. Within close distance you can visit Arta and its historic bridges, Lake Voulkaria and the Amvrakikos Gulf, the beaches of Preveza, and fish taverns with fresh fish, 5 minutes on foot from the accommodation.
Just 35 minutes from Arta and 1 hour 15 from Aktio/Preveza Airport. Ideal for excursions to Epirus.
